I am disappointed that HP tells me I need to subscribe to their Software Support program in order for them to fix a bug in THEIR software on my new HP laptop. The product warranty only covers hardware. The cheapest scenario is paying $25 to join and then $17/month or $80 for 7 months or $150 for 12 months. This suggests that they DO know how to fix the problem, but choose not to do so without extra payment. My takeaway is that they seem to have a nifty new business model: install glitchy software on new laptops and then charge customers more to fix the problems. Unbelievable.

Same problem for me. And after wasting a lot of time at work trying to figure out how to fix it, or even access the Omen Gaming Hub settings, I'm thinking the best thing to do is just unintalled the software (if it actually can be, given it's an Omen laptop).
I used to really like the Omen experience and was even considering buying a new one, but honestly this persistent window not closing, the software not giving me any real options, and it trying to force me to buy new subscriptions, turns me off as a customer so deeply that now I'm likely to avoid Omen's forever.
It's the moment a nice bit of targeted software suddenly became a buggy, persistent, money grabbing bit of bloatware. And that's my redline in terms of giving up on a brand.

I am having the exact same issue after an upgrade of the OMEN software. I was considering getting another desktop but having second thoughts. I use this PC for Gaming and work, this window is so terribly annoying! There has been no reaction to our issue. A simple bug fix will take this away. Forcing us to go into task manager to resolve the issue is frustrating and adding additional steps. If they want to create a platform for Gaming this is certainly not the way to go about it. This is a great PC and hoping they can fix this quickly. Lets se how long it takes HP to react to a simple bug fix, it has been two days already.

Yes out of the blue a little box that you cant X out appears to let you know it exists.
I dont play video games so maybe its trying to get my attention.
The only methode I found to rid its presence was to task mngr it.
There are three of them in the task manager so do all three of them.
Mine popped up after a windows update maybe that is the causation.
