I have ordered this: OMEN HP 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-3000t PC. It is on the way to me now. I want to know if the
- Intel Core Ultra7 265K (up to 5.50 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 30 MB cache, 20 cores, 20 threads) has had the new Bios update released by Intel already installed. If not do I need to install it myself? I have the 3 year warranty as well but need to be sure I can install this vital update without voiding a brand new warranty/pc. You have to set the voltage in the bios to Intel's default to keep it from running high voltage. That is in the part where it asks you if you want to enter it to make this change. It is the overclocking part. The problem is we are not overclocking it and according to info I read or misunderstood I can not do this without voiding my warranty. There better be an exception to this situation. Can you answer these questions? Please let me know. If I can not do this myself then you have to or return this new pc for a full refund minus restocking fee since this would not be my fault.

Yeah I looked for drivers too but not yet like you said too new. Need to register this. One more thing caught my eye reviewing the order info for shipping the Windows 11 Advanced. I was not sure what that was. I know the other ones so I looked into it. They sold this to me as a commercial buyer. So the Windows Advanced is a Pro version but with more options. I don't know if that is good or bad yet. You think better than the Home edition I wanted? They did not charge me for the higher level Windows but still wonder why the commercial sale? Maybe because of the discounts I got buying this. It was supposed to be $2800 + but I got it for little under $2500 so maybe that why? Hope it not going to cause problems with Warranty etc. The other thing I am going to add 32gb more RAM. I know I seen some examples on YouTube on adjustment needed in bios to make the cpu use the correct amount of memory available as well as GPU. Changing the RAM is fairly easy with new sockets they use today and RGB lighting on it I think there is setting for that too. Hope you don't mind the extra questions. Your answer was very helpful. Thanks.

Greetings @Rick62F
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Opinions or troubleshooting suggestions in this response are provided independently. I am not employed by: HP, Inc. or the HP Forum.
To the best of my knowledge, Intel Core Ultra CPUs are not affected by the Intel: 13th gen and 14th gen CPU degradation issues.
I can't find a HP driver download site for your PC because it is a new product. So there would be no BIOS updates available at this time.
Your PC will ship with the initial factory BIOS.
You will not void the warranty subsequently installing a HP: provided and approved BIOS update or any other approved HP software/driver updates.
HP will configure your new PC's MB/BIOS using Intel guidelines.
The CPU will not be overclocked in excess of approved Intel guidelines.
Finally, HP generally limits CPU overclocking options on most, if not all, HP consumer MBs.
