I bought this computer in June (came with Windows 11) and have been having issues ever since. First it was the constant wake-from-sleep thing, crashing while powering on/off, audio fade-in--all seem to be Omen issues--but the main one that I haven't been able to sort out on my own is the stuttering (which looks like this). I've been working with audio and the stuttering is preventing me from getting anything done. I've updated/reinstalled drivers, tried Windows troubleshooting, lots of restarts... no luck.
According to AMD's site and even HP agent answers, this appears to be an issue with Windows 11's TPM requirement and AMD's motherboards not playing nicely. From the support agent: "Yes it will be fixed and It is for all AMD Ryzen Processors." That reply was from March, the AMD update rollouts started in May, and it's August now and still not fixed.
When will we get support?
Is there a reasonable workaround until then? Please, this is driving me insane!
My board is B550, processor is AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, and my BIOS is on version F.13.

Hello @hilarygg
(1) Something is wrong here. It looks like HP rolled out BIOS F.13 some time ago and it caused problems because it is currently no longer available in HP software repository. This is suspicious !
(2) Bad news: HP prevents BIOS downgrade !
Latest bios -> BIOS F.12 Rev.A
(3) HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support. They should fix everything
--- Alternative solution: Install < windows 10 >
You need to prepare <USB flash drive>
Use official Microsoft method:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO
After installation is done, get software and drivers
-> OMEN 25L Desktop PC GT12-1000a
( Choose operating system option <Windows 10 Version 20H2 (64-bit) or later> )
(4) Please report your results

Hmm, the one listed for my product is F.12 Rev. A. I don't know how I ended up with F.13--I'm not a "mess around with the BIOS kind of person. And I would really rather not brick my new pc.. I'll try to get in touch with support! Update to follow, hopefully.

Okay, I have had time to sit down with this lately, but I do now. How on earth do I contact HP? I was hoping an agent would see this because the support page just sends me in circles. Select your product > select the issue (I pick "other" or sometimes "slow computer") > select your product.... 😐 And clicking "contact a support agent or whatever just leads to that loop. I'll keep trying but any advice would be amazing. Then I can get down to the bottom of this BIOS mystery.
