Sorry my ignorance, but how this screenshot above will or can help me to adjust the minimum CPU Fan speed setting??? Is there a way manual control the CPU fan setting or disable the alert, anybody??? I have to confirm the CPU fan alert on very boot this is so annoying...

I just found this thread. I purchased an Omen 30L (10850k / rtx 3090) in December and am having the same problems as you guys. Temperatures got up to 95c while gaming. I have tried a lot of different things e.g.: 

- Used a different powerplan with 99% to disable Turbo Boost. This helped to cool the CPU, but I didn't buy an i9 10850k to gimp it by disabling the Boost. So, I put it back to 100% max and 5% low, discarding the HP power plan.

- I used Intel XTU and Throttlestop to control wattage. Set PL1 to 125w and PL2 to 250W, while undervolting by 100mv. That got me a few degrees, but the CPU was still hitting 85 – 90c while gaming. Unacceptable. 

I ended up ordering a new case (Corsair 5000D Airflow) and a new (air) cooler (Noctua NH-D15). This weekend I swapped everything into the new case, even the suboptimal HP motherboard. When booting up for the first time I got a 90b error for CPU fan and system fan.

Apparently, the Dorado OC motherboard expects chassis fans on both connectors. Since the Corsair 5000D has a PWM fan hub, I only used one of the chassis fan connectors, hence the 90b error for system fan. Once I connected one of my chassis fans to the second fan connector on the motherboard, the 90b error for system fan disappeared.

The 90b error for the CPU fan however was persistent. I ran several benchmarks and stress tests and the CPU never surpassed 70c, even under full load. The two 140mm fans of the Noctua air cooler are correctly regulated by the motherboard and spin with different speeds when at different temperatures. Everything was fine, except for this 90b error message. Since the BIOS allows for no advanced settings whatsoever, I had to acknowledge the error message on every boot. I solved the problem by connecting a chassis fan to the lc_pump connector, which had previously been free and not connected to anything, because I didn’t have an lc pump anymore. And voila, the error message on boot up is gone, but the chassis fan now runs at 100% all the time. Which is fine, because it’s a very quiet Noctua fan, but sucks nonetheless. Seems like the motherboard expects lc_pump to be connected to something.

Where did you connect your new AIO to? Are the fans plugged into CPU_LC_FAN? Is the Pump plugged into lc_pump? Or did you maybe accidently put the fans into lc_pump and the pump into CPU_LC_FAN?

Thanks for the great post, great help. I actually connected the Pump of the 360AIO to a 12V SATA connection, because this was recommended by bequiet. So yes the pump connector on the motherboard is empty and after your post now I assume this is the issue of the b90 error. Looks like this board expect both. I will check tonight if I can attach the pump on the pump port, even if this is not recommend by be quiet. I'm wondering if the pump is also running with different speeds if connected to the mainboard direct as this would be a problem for this AIO Cooler.

You don't need to connect the pump to it. You can just connect a case fan, they also have 4 pin connectors. The only problem is, that it would run at 100% all the time. But I think you could use a low noise adapter or even a y-split cable to circumvent that problem.

Yeah the pump 4 pin header is running at 100% all the time, so is recommended having the pump plugged in there, or like it was mentioned, a fan, but it will run at max rpm without reducer.

I am using a Noctua NF12 PWM fan with low noise adapter so it runs at 1200 rpm. Very quiet.

you can look at my posts...i have shown how to use xtu to do this...my bench marks and temps are the same as everyone elses and at zero cost.  or you can listen to these guys who have destroyed their computers and warranties and have either swapped one problem for another or havent actually gained any perfromance lol. this thread is too much.
