Omen Command Center Benchmark not working after HP Inc. Firmware 15.21.0.0 Update
01-07-2020 12:38 PM

Windows Update recently applied a BIOS update called "HP Inc. - Firmware - 15.21.0.0" to my system.
After this update, The Benchmarking function in Omen Command Center - Overclocking no longer runs to completion, freezing at 2%.

@JRiddle Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that after windows update and BIOs update, you are not getting an overclocking option in the omen command center.
Please rollback the BIOS and check.
Press the Windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
If the issue still persists, please perform the below steps and check.
Procedure 1: Ensure the OMEN Commend Center and OS are at the latest versions.

-
Click the Search icon.

Click Get updates. If there are OMEN Command Center or HP System Event Utility updates available, proceed and update them to the latest versions.

@JRiddle I'm afraid if the device had issues when recovering the BIOS, it could lead to a hardware malfunction and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
here's how private messages work: Click here for details.
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
