I just purchased this PC today and I cannot get the lighting function to work under the Omen Command Center. It has the apply option when you select a color etc but when it's clicked, nothing happens. I've tried changing it several different ways, but it always just stays the same color which is just a plain bright white. Is there anyway to fix this?

IF this is a new system you just started today, it probably needs to be updated.
Go to All Settings> Update and Security and click on Check for Updates, even if it says its up to date. Do this a couple of times until there are no more updates found.
Reboot the computer and try it again. Let me know what happens.

Had you browsed the whole page you would have noticed there are others experiencing the same problem just now. So it's most likely faulty controlling software that is to blame - which (sadly) does not surprise me at all.
So, check this thread:

And the last post (mine) - that sadly has not been responded to any further - and report back.

As the new version OMEN command center 9.2.6.0 will be available on Microsoft store.

uninstall the one whats there in the computer and then install the OMEN comman center from Microsoft store and check

Has there been any solution found for the people experiencing this problem? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Command Center several times. I've also tried updates which I've had a couple over the time I've had the computer. Nothing seems to have worked yet to get the lights to function. I would even be happy just to turn them off since it's stuck on this glaringly bright white function that is a bit of a eye sore and by far not easy to even look at. I can't even shut the lights off with the command center. Is it possibly a missing driver somewhere?

Did you try resetting it back to the factory default, i.e. reinstalling using HP Recovery Manager?
