Was transferring files to a sandisk and the computer shut down. There are no signs of life other than a green light on the power supply. It will not power on, no fans, do video output, etc. Purchased new on 12/1/18 from Walmart; however, HP shows the warranty has expired.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Support Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

I provided the receipt as requested and my warranty was updated. However on Tuesday I was told and verified by email that I would receive a box to ship the PC in for repair within 2-3 days. It has now been 3 days and no box has even been shipped out much less received.
After calling today I was told my order was “pending” and the specialist wasn’t sure what that meant.... I’m now waiting on a “call back.”
Just about Every support person I have dealt with keeps telling me to return the PC to Walmart. That isn’t what I want to do. I want it repaired, but apparently HP is trying to force my hand anyway.
help!?!?
