Bought a new PC today.
when gaming Overwatch i hit 83 degrees. Is this really ok?

What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.  Once I have this information I will help you further.

The Tjunction temperature is 100C.  Therefore, while the 84C is  high it is still not high enough to cause the processor to throttle.  Just watch it to assure it doesn't get a lot higher.  The main thing is to keep the inside of the case as clean as possible.
