@Kaptenfisk , welcome to the Community.

What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.  Once I have this information I will help you further.

Considering how small this chassis is, those temps are not unexpected.

Thank you for the additional information, @Kaptenfisk!

Here are the specifications from Intel on your processor: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/199278/intel-core-i5-10400f-processor-12m-cache...

The Tjunction temperature is 100C.  Therefore, while the 84C is  high it is still not high enough to cause the processor to throttle.  Just watch it to assure it doesn't get a lot higher.  The main thing is to keep the inside of the case as clean as possible.
