Your desktop has but a 180 watt power supply -indeed no good but for a pitiful GeForce GT 1030. On a good day, that is.
But you already knew that.
Personally, if the HP Desktop - M01-F0024 were my (Gaming) Desktop Upgrade Project, I would consider leaving your 180 watt power supply where it is, and daisy-chain / synchronize a secondary ATX industry standard PSU by means of an ATX PSU ADAPTER ATX 24-Pin to SATA Power Supply Adapter to power your graphics card like I did with my HP 800 G3 SFF Upgrade Project -see starting at page 4: Solved: Upgrading HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF - Page 4 - HP Support Community - 8251218.
A visual: showing a fully modular ATX 850 watt AGK850 power supply powering my graphics card (btw, not showing my current RTX 3080 OC 12GB card) -the red arrow points to the ATX power supply adapter:
This GPU power-supply alternative has been working awesomely and reliably for months on several upgraded legacy HP desktops.
