Just checking in with you @GameOboy_360
Were you able to get the new NVIDIA driver clean installed? Did it make any difference?
If not, we might have to consider a more drastic option.

OK then. Ill give you the long way to do it (best).
But if its too much to handle, see the next post below. 👇
They make it seem confusing if you've never messed with Zipped files before.
Before you get started, read through these instructions. It might seem too daunting for a beginner but if you follow it, you shouldn't have any problems.
You will want to copy/print these instructions as you will need when you boot into Safe Mode.
Click these links and download them to your desktop.
How to extract a Zipped file.
Right click on the Guru3d file and choose Extract All.
It will make a new folder that's not locked. Open it.
Double click the file named DDU v18.0.2.4.exe to run it.
It will open a box that asked you to Extract it. Click on Extract.
Its going to make a new folder named DDU v18.0.2.4 (probably inside the existing Guru 3D folder you extracted earlier).
Now just leave it there for a moment.
Disconnect your WiFi connection or if you are using the Ethernet cord, unplug it and leave it alone for now. We don't want Windows to reconnect afterward and download NVIDIA on its own. If its easier to just unplug your router/modem, that's OK too.
Now you need to reboot the PC into Safe Mode.
Copy/Paste or type the word msconfig into the Windows Search Bar and then hit the Enter key.
A new window will open.
Select the Boot tab.
Click the box for Safe boot and Minimal.
Click OK.
Here is an example...
A dialog box will open and ask you to choose Restart. Do that and let the PC reboot.
The PC will reboot into Safe Mode with a black screen (no wallpaper).
Important!
Once Windows is in Safe Mode, go back to the Search Bar and type msconfig and hit the Enter key like you did before.
Select the Boot tab again and undue what you did before. Uncheck the box for Safe boot.
Click OK but don't restart.
On your desktop inside the DDU folder, find the new DDU folder and open it (or where ever the new DDU exe file is).
Double click on Display Driver Uninstaller.exe to run it.
In the new window...
#1 choose GPU and NVIDIA.
#2 click on Options to open a new window.
In the new window for Options, check the boxes for everything under NVIDIA Specific Options.
Also check the box for Prevent download of drivers from Windows Updates, then close it.
The main window for DDU should still be open.
Click the box/button for Clean and restart (Highly recommended).
It will run, then reboot Windows. Your internet should still be off after it boots also.
Now install the NVIDIA driver.
Double click the NVIDIA download and follow the prompts.
I will pop up a box asking where the installer files are to be saved.
Leave it at default and click OK.
The installer will run. At some point it will ask you about what to install.
I personally leave the GeForce Experience off my machines. Its up to you.
Now you are done and can reconnect your internet.
Test your game again and see what happens.
Keeping fingers crossed.

Sorry had to leave abruptly before finishing. If all that was too much to handle, Skip the DDU and Safe Mode and just reinstall the NVIDIA driver and choose to clean install it. Not always the best way but will do.
At least you learned something new hopefully.

Im gonna leave this for you also in case you've just decided enough is enough.
This is the link for HP Support, which I assume you are still under warranty?
If reinstalling the driver doesn't do it, contact them for further help.
They may have you send it back to them for repairs.
