HP Pavilion Power Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

1. i disconnected my PC from its power supply while it was shutting down

2. booted back up and some apps werent working. (Fl Studio, Itunes)

3. to fix the problem, i i decided to reset my PC to factory settings deleting everything.  and  i dont think i had a backup saved.

4. PC booted up again. now i have no users. no way to login. no way to troubleshoot due to having no users.

i had made an administrator account and password with the  command prompt by using this video https://youtu.be/nn4B75ZgngI

but i can only use this account to login to my desktop. which is all black. no icons but the recycle bin. not clickable. and an error message pops up saying desktop is unavailable.

i i cant use this administrator account that i created to trouble shoot my PC at the blue restart screen. it says there are no users.

also when im able to login to the blacked out desktop. i can open "command Prompt"  but not the "task manager"

HOW DO I FIX THIS?! i waited weeks to get internet in my home. and now that i got it, my computer has this problem 😞

i tried to be thorough with my description.

Hi:

See if your model PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.

http://support.hp.cloud-recovery.s3-website-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/

If it is, here is an info link for how to use the utility to create a bootable USB flash drive you can use to factory reset the PC.

If your PC is not supported by the cloud recovery tool, I suggest you clean install W10 by making a bootable W10 installer using the Media creation tool at the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your specific model PC's support page.
