Omen 25L
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Planning on upgrading RAM to 32 GB and trying to decide on the Fury DDR4 and the Fury DD4 RGB. Anybody use the RGB RAM and the Hyperx RGB software? Also, have Razer RGB keyboard and mouse which use Razer RGB software. I assume I will need to use both software apps since it does not appear that either can control both the mouse/keyboard and the RAM lighting. Anybody know for sure?

Thanks.

PS: Really like the 25L so far. No issues.

Only memory purchased through HP would be able to controlled via HP Omen Command Center, only the OCC can control the RGB modes and frequency. Make sure to order the computer with the maximum amount the you need, otherwise the price is very steep if you buy it separately from HP, 8GB is $158.

As for your mouse and KB, you are correct, you would need to have their specific software to control them.

Thanks for info on software. I assumed that was the case.

Regarding price to upgrade RAM. It was a lot cheaper to by the the 25L from Costco for $1,099.99 (16 GB RAM) and buy the 32 GB RAM from Amazon for $131.99 (+an extra $14 for the RGB RAM). Total from Costco + the 32 GB Non-RGB RAM is $1,231.98 vs. $1,478.99 for same configuration from HP with 32 GB RAM.
