I thought you need to remove the foam pad before installing? It seems very thick and will bend your ssd and prevent heat spread if not removed.

what did you do ?

did you remove it or you keep it

Both SSD1 and SSD 2 on the Shire 8509 Motherboard are NVMe PCIe3x4 with a max speed of 8.0 GT/s.   The slots are M.2 2280.

I have a Corsair MP510 installed in SSD2 as Drive E.  I took a screenshot of the motherboard bus associated with SSD2.  I also did a benchmark of SSD1 and SSD2 using 'ATTO Disk Benchmark.'   Both drives are performing normally and run at full speed.

Cool! Are all your drives in the same Windows OS? I was thinking about dual boot on the two SSDs--one with Windows and the other with Linux.

I am running Windows 10 only.  Unfortunately, I don't have any knowledge about dual boot capability on the HP Omen Obelisk.
