Just another quick update:
More or less every resolution states:
- live with the slower 2.4GHz or
- exchange the RTL8822AC with the Intel AX-201 (or AX-200 in the oldest threads).
I mean, how can HP still use this card?
At least give a hint or a written note like "yeah, this card doesn't work as expected on 5GHz ac [a.k.a. it su__s], but better one bad WLAN card instead of no WLAN card due to supply chain issues, you know?"
Sarcastically written by me.
Like Tesla with their Model 3 - "yeah, no USB ports due to chip shortage, we will install these when we have again on stock" or like Mercedes with their EQA "yeah, you cannot chose the electrical seat adjustment from the options anymore because we cannot get the electrical components".
I would like to know how this will be fixed with my case, and I'll keep you informed.
PS: I don't have Facebook nor Twitter nor Reddit and I don't want to spread at the moment a lot of hate or pressure until HP will acknowledge this issue and bring a resolution.
