Hi @Sammer2

Welcome back.

Did you buy a M.2 PCIe NVME SSD? Many M.2 SSD manufacturers provide cloning software to copy the OS from the old SSD to the new SSD.

You would need to buy a USB 3 to M.2 PCIe NVME adapter available at Amazon or Newegg. I can't recommend a reliable adapter because I use system images.

System images can be directly copied to the new drive without the required adapter. I remove the existing M.2 drive. Install the new drive. Now copy the offline system image to the new drive using a bootable USB rescue drive.

Start the PC and Windows typically runs without a hitch.

I am now using Aomei Backupper free to create system images. Complete instruction can be reviewed at this Site.

Regards
