@Bala122003, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop (15-fb0000) is shutting down automatically during gaming due to one or more of the following common issues:
1. Overheating
Gaming generates a lot of heat, and if the cooling system isn’t working efficiently, the laptop may shut down to protect itself.
Fixes:
- Ensure the laptop is on a hard, flat surface for proper ventilation.
- Clean the air vents and fans using compressed air.
- Consider using a cooling pad.
2. Power Supply or Battery Issues
A faulty charger or battery can cause shutdowns, especially under high load.
Fixes:
- Check if the charger is working properly.
- Try running the laptop without the battery (if removable) and only on AC power.
- If under warranty, consider getting the battery tested or replaced.
3. Outdated BIOS or Drivers
Outdated system firmware or drivers can cause instability.
Fixes:
- Update the BIOS from the HP Support site.
- Update graphics drivers (NVIDIA/AMD) and chipset drivers.
- Ensure Windows 11 is fully updated.
4. Power Settings
Improper power settings can cause shutdowns under load.
Fixes:
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options and set it to High Performance.
- Disable any aggressive power-saving features.
5. Hardware Diagnostics
There could be a hardware fault (RAM, GPU, etc.).
Fixes:
- Run HP’s built-in diagnostics: Restart and press F2 repeatedly to enter diagnostics mode.
- Run a full system test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
