Hello so my question is:  Can i upgrade my current desktop (pavilion 550-105nv) wich has the odense pegatron motherboard with a geforce gtx 1050ti or 1060? Are they compatible? (i know that a new power supply is required)

Yes!  Here is a video card that will fit nicely into your case and give you an increase in system performance.

 

You are correct in stating that a power supply unit (PSU) upgrade is necessary, also.  I suggest no less than 500W to assure that you have enough power for future upgrades.  I like Corsair products.

Thanks for your time but i thought that my current pc i mean with just replacing video card and power supply is not compatible with the latest model in video cards

Thank you for the additional information, @TheMagician9.

 

Your computer was only released in 2016.  Therefore, it still has some good years left if you take good care of it.  If you still have concerns about the video card working with your motherboard, you cah contact the manufacturer's Tech Support to see what they have to say.  The card in the link that I provided only requires 300W to operate properly.

If I were you and considering those current specs, I wouldnt spend more that the cost of a 1050ti with 4 GB.

Use the $110 savings towards a new PSU and maybe another stick of 8GB ram
