Upgrading RAM

hp pavilion gaming desktop 790-00xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I saw several threads around this but I want to have a proper confirmation.

Model: hp pavilion gaming desktop 790-00xx ;

Product Number: 5SX08EA#ABZ (I managed to obtain it from the HP System Event Utility app);
My current spec: Intel Core I7-8700 CPU @ 3.20 Ghz;

8 gb (default) SK Hynix DDR4, 2666 MHz, DIMM 288 pin;

RAM (Upgraded): default + 2 x 8 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4, 2666 MHz, DIMM 288 pin;

Graphic Card: NVIDIA RTX 2070;
OS: Windows 10 64 bit.

As you noticed I upgraded my RAM with 2 x 8 gb banks by Corsair with the same specs as the original.
Only downside is that now my RAM speed went down to 2133 MHz.
I need to load a XMP profile to make it work at the desired speed but I guess HP locked down the OC panel of the BIOS.
Is there a way to unlock it? We are talking about a a gaming desktop so upgrading and overclocking are part of the deal.

Is there an advanced option available? Or a specific hotkey to trigger it? Or should I trade RAM speed for RAM size?
Thank you very much for your time and patience. Looking forward to your reply.

P.S = System Event Utility shows the model of my desktop as: "hp pavilion gaming desktop 790-00xx".

Upgrading RAM

@Fausto86 Greetings from the HP Community!

Note: Please ensure the complete product name/number for a quicker response from the community, as we need to know what we are dealing with to provide an accurate solution:

Click here for steps on finding the information we need! - As this is not sufficient: check the list.

Remember: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Meanwhile, As an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed in HP articles are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.

I cannot suggest a specific RAM for an upgrade if that's what you need, instead, you can go through a local tech to identify which card works with your device before purchasing it, the best I can do is get you the details of the parts tested by your device and what's compatible ones I have the product information, however, I'll need the product information before I can get you that information.

Keep us posted,

Upgrading RAM

That's what I did, I followed the guide from the link you posted and  retrieved the product number from the system information suggested in Option 2.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07555 (this is where I got the information).

This is what is written in system information on my end:

Product name : HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 790-00xx
Product number : 5SX08EA#ABZ
And other details, like serial number, which you suggested me to not post.

@Fausto86 As per the product number: 5SX08EA you've mentioned,
