@swayzi , welcome to the forum.
What is the full model or product number of your computer? You can find this information by opeining HP Support Assistant. I need this information to review all of the specs.

@swayzi , welcome back to the forum.
There are two things that you have to consider: 1) Length of the card and
2) How much wattage does it take to run the video card properly.
You can determine how long the card can be by measuring from the Back I/O ports to the front of the case. The power supply unit (PSU) in your computer is only 300W. This will run a few of the newer cards, but most of them will require a PSU upgrade. They require a minimum of 400W. I normally recommend at least 500W to allow for peak needs. Since I presume you want to game, here is a small, but powerful, video card that will run with the 300W. Read the Customer Reviews to see what users have to say about it. Also, read the "Specifications" tab for all of the information you will need to know. I have recommend this card to many members of the Forums without any negative feedback.
