HP Pavilion 690-0010
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been looking into upgrading my pc storage as the HDD that the pc came with just isn't cutting it for speed.

So I've been suggested the WD SN550 NVMe but I'm wondering if it is compatible with the motherboard of the 690-0010.

hi @Sxelent  @Paul_Tikkanen

Please note, this is not guaranteed!
I no longer know about this model, but for some Hp models, I noticed that the information is sometimes contradictory ..
the user here has validated, but not a real return of what he has can be installed

Normally if the motherboard supports a Ryzen processor, the M.2 slot is NVMe.

Unfortunately, when you check the parts lists for either example, HP only lists the hard drive, not the M.2 SSD.

This discussion also seems to confirm that a NVMe SSD works...
