Product: Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000a (4H509AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Trying to find out which is the best processor that will be compatible with my  Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000a, I went ahead and already upgraded my power supply to 500W. Please assist.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Per this HP Site HP validated three 65 watt TDP AMD processors in the Erica8 MB. Look at Processor upgrade information.

 

Upgrading from a 5600G to a 5700G would not be cost effective.

 

Trying any other AM4 socket CPU in this MB would be a gamble.

@Bill_To,

 

Just in the off-chance that the OP's motherboard happens to be the Reno motherboard (SSID: 89B5), the best processors include the "K" versions, such as the i7-12700K/F. In case the OP should consider such a processor, please throttle the power input to the CPU to 150-watt using a freeware program called "QuickCPU" like I used with my HP Pavilion TP01-3xxx upgrade project.
