Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Moria 3 motherboard that came with my prebuilt pc. The CPU it came with was  a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x. I was wondering the I could upgrade to the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G and still use the same motherboard now that the new CPU uses Zen 3 Microarchitecture? (AMD Ryzen 5 5600G).

you have here, what is tested, approved by hp
Although some models, could be compatible, if same tdp, same chipset compatibility, unless a user, who has already tested, nobody can guarantee that it can work, bios update or not (if not mentioned by hp that a new processor is supported)

the gain in performance, is it worth taking the risk, or maybe you would be better off changing your computer, graphics card, memory, ssd ..?
