Hi @teja972,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing problems with the built-in camera on your HP Victus running Windows 11, it could likely be a driver-related issue. Here arethe  steps to resolve this:

  1. Check Camera Settings:
    • Go to "Settings" > "Privacy & security" > "Camera" and make sure the camera access is enabled for the apps you want to use.

  2. Update Camera Drivers:
    • Open "Device Manager" by right-clicking the Start button and selecting it from the list.
    • Expand the "Cameras" section, right-click on your camera, and select "Update driver."
    • Choose "Search automatically for drivers" to let Windows find and install updates.

  3. Reinstall Camera Drivers:
    • In "Device Manager," right-click on your camera under the "Cameras" section.
    • Select "Uninstall device," then restart your computer.
    • Windows should automatically reinstall the camera driver upon restarting.

  4. Install Software and Driver Updates from HP:
    • Visit the Official HP® Support page.
    • Enter your HP Victus model and download the latest camera drivers and updates specific to Windows 11.

  5. Check for Windows Updates:
    • Open "Settings" > "Windows Update" and check for updates.
    • Ensure that Windows is up-to-date, as updates might contain fixes for camera issues.

  6. Run Windows Troubleshooter:
    • Go to "Settings" > "System" > "Troubleshoot" > "Other troubleshooters."
    • Scroll down to find and run the "Camera" troubleshooter.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve most issues related to the built-in camera on your HP Victus laptop running Windows 11.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
