Upgrading from an RX 5500 to a 7700 XT would be a solid jump in performance, especially for 1080p and 1440p gaming. The main things you’ll want to check are your PSU wattage (recommended around 650W quality PSU), the physical space inside your case, and whether your motherboard has a compatible PCIe slot (most modern boards do).

Make sure to measure the GPU length and compare it with your case clearance before buying. Also check if your PSU has the required PCIe power connectors.

I usually follow simple hardware upgrade guides from sourcewebsite when comparing compatibility and power requirements because clear step-by-step info helps avoid mistakes. If you confirm your PSU model and case size, I can give more specific advice.
