Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0023w

I have a Product name: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0xxx and I would like to upgrade my graphics card, but I don't know if I need a better psu or processor for it. but i can list all my parts if someone is down to help me with my problem..

@Garrit1 , welcome to the Community.

 

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  HP has a PSU that has 500W (L05757-800). 

 

Frankly, I don't know how much boost in performance you would receive with an upgrade to your video card.  Of course, this is entirely up to you.  Your current PSU is 400W.  So, an additional 100W of power won't allow you to buy much more than another mid-level card.
