hello, I'm am looking into upgrading my CPU but I've seen some controversy online about if id need a new motherboard or not, i currently have a omen obelisk 875 with the i7-8700k, I'm looking to upgrade to the i7-13700k, i think id need to upgrade my PSU as well as I'm running a 500w bronze right now. the current motherboard is the edoras motherboard. if anyone has any info on what id need to upgrade/replace, it would be appreciated. thank you.

The I7-13700k is not listed at the Edoras spec
Neither is it listed at a benchmark site for the Omen Obelisk

I have found that a GPU upgrade is best for any gaming system.
Start here with your existing video board and scroll looking for a %50 improvement and look to see if the new GPU needs 500 watts or less.
I am guessing 1660ti (300 watts) but start with your board
