@vexie

What is the computer you are plugging into? Needing to know the specs.

Did you go to the monitors OSD menu and change the input control to DisplayPort?

Have you tried the HDMI port to see if that works?

i have in fact tried hdmi, it works. i have a core i5 and a 1060 3g oc

OK we know that the monitor works then. Did you also go into the ODS settings in the Monitor and change the output selector to DisplayPort? Sometimes the auto selector does not detect a monitor and it has to be manually changed.

yes, i did change it to DP. i unplugged the monitor and everything

All I can do at this point is ask HP if a representative can contact you and discuss further options.

Ill put in the request and it might take a bit for them to contact you.
