Welcome to our HP community forum!
I've got good news for you. There are ways to substantially upgrade your desktop's (gaming) performance.
Firstly, though, please verify that your PC is fitted with the Erica3 motherboard with SSID: 87D6. You do this by typing "System Information" in your Windows search bar, clicking on the System Information App, and by looking to the right of "BaseBoard Product". Also, what processor do you got, how much RAM, what drives, and what graphics card do you have.
Possible upgrading suggestions:
1.) Upgrade your RAM with 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks such as this 2x16GB RAM kit: TEAMGROUP Elite DDR4 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL22 Unbuffered Non-ECC 1.2V UDIMM 288 Pin PC Computer Desktop Memory Module Ram Upgrade - p/n: TED432G3200C22DC01.
2.) Upgrade your processor to an AMD Ryzen 7 4700G.
3.) Upgrade your power supply to at least a 400-watt PSU (p/n: L69242-800), or if you really want to max out on graphics card options, install a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800, which, according to this link, is also compatible with your desktop:
4.) Make sure your primary (boot) drive is an M.2 NVMe SSD.
5.) Related to #3: upgrade your graphics card. For a 400-watt power supply, a smaller-sized RTX 3050, GTX 1660 Super, GTX 1660 Ti, or the very best option: an RTX 4060 such as this model. With a 500-watt power supply, you can power all of the aforementioned GPUs, as well as smaller-sized cards such as: RTX 3060, RTX 2060, RTX 2060 Super, RTX 2070, RTX 3060 Ti such as this model.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
