The battery in my 2019 HP Omen started to smell and swell today. I removed the battery, but the laptop will not power on even when plugged in. I checked that the power cord works on another HP laptop, so it is not an issue with the cord.

 

Can tech support contact and help me with this issue? I read on another thread that this could al be a fried motherboard problem.
