Product: OMEN by HP - 17-w200 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 2017 Omen 17 laptop. Product X7N79AV. I currently have 1 Sata drive and 1 SSD hard drive, with a small slot which looks to be an m2 SSD slot.

 

I'm looking for advice on a good SSD for that slot, as well as the cabling necessary to connect it. There was a diagram in another board post of an Omen 17 with only 2 slots, so if one is available for my setup it would help me verify the setup. Any help would be appreciated!

The series supports DUAL storage only, no provision for another internal storage.. Manuals

The reason I’m confused is because I only have ONE cooling fan instead of two, and I have a second NVMe slot, located toward the top edge. I believe it’s adjacent to the hdmi out port. I had a tech with the machine open in front of me tell me that’s what it was. In addition, a member of the Onen support team told me the same thing.
