Hey so, I have the laptop OMEN Transcend 16 and my laptop battery degraded from 97 WtH to 79WtH because of prolonged usage while plugged in using the AC adopter. So I was thinking of making the battery to not fully charge, but there's no option for that, there's only the Adaptive battery Optimizer. No advanced no battery healthcare.... So even if it only allows the Adaptive Battery Optimizer, what does that setting really do ? Can anyone explain it or can anyone help me so enable the Advanced mode to maintain the battery health Please, it would be of a great help!

Hi @SadVibz
These models have Adaptive battery, they control the charge according to the preferences of use. Only models of the Business line can control the charging in the BIOS.

So Even if i unplug the charger, the battery which was set to 79% will stay at that ?, cuz it felt like my laptop is no longer stays on for 4 hours like before! But thanks for the answer, It's somewhat assuring!

Exactly, and with 369 charge cycles it is normal that there is a degradation of the battery.
