Product: Hp 15-cx0056wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Will this model get latest windows 10 may 2020 update (v 2004). I tried updating it by downloading latest update from official Microsoft site but stopped at second phase while migration of data.

Make sure your system requirements are compatible with Windows 10 Version. If it isn't then I will recommend you to increase Computer RAM and update Processor. And another main thing that you should keep in notice that you must install Windows from Official Website.
