Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-s0000 (76T54AV)

Hello there, opening a forum topic for the first time and i hope i can find help faster than my own self trying.

Thanks a lot for you experience

- So i've bought this great victus 16 with great component as 4070 laptop, and ryzen 7 recent cpu; it also came with ddr5 16gb ram and a fast henyx m.2 512gb

- I've changed my 512 Henyx M.2 by a Sn850X pcie 4 m.2

- I've setup everything nicely, downloaded every soft to get anything up to date and accessible

( Omen & Hp Support assistant )

- I noticed there was no Advanced BIOS or overclocking capacity on this model, but the " performance mod, balanced or eco " switch ; i don't find any options in advanced bios

I've been using UserBenchmark for quick check of my component compared to similar setups, and noticed that
- GPU benchmark could perform below average ( this is solved by simply turning to performance mode, i got it )
- Ram is performing below average ( this is the main thing i try to understand, it recommand checking XMP ou AMP but from cpu-z the ram's are clocked as they should at half their speed, and i can't change much nowhere )
- My new M.2 Sn850X Pcie 4 is half performing ( i did check the motherboad and it says it's pcie 4 tho i don't understand )

Here is a resume https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/68290671

Also i noticed the ram usage was pretty high even at start, i do know that nowadays it aks for more ram but, it feels the same as my old config , i was on a 2014 8gb ddr3 gtx 980 computer before this

I don't feel any advantages in my ram usage

Regards

After upragrind to crucial 2x16gb ddr5 RAM the computer perform better, i believe it gets more rooms to work with and felt the different instantly when starting the computer

SO the computer wasnt dramaticaly under performing, but with more room it performs way better

Update

I've test the SSD with crystak disk mark and it appears that it doesnt perform that bad, i believe just a bit less without the dissipator but near the goal

I'm still trying to figure out if rams are working ok or not before upgrading
