Product: OMEN X by HP - 17-ap092ms
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A new keyboard is incredibly expensive ... like $375.  The backspace key no longer functions.  It started out intermittent.  I made sure that there was nothing under the key and that it is clean.  Anyway, no it no longer works at all.  Can the key itself be repaired?

Hello, where and when do you have bought this keyboard?? 

Please right click on "computer" and clic to "manage". In left go to "devices manager" and duplicate clic on "keyboards" section to see inside. So right clic on your keyboard to "uninstall device". Select the box for delete all driver if available, clic "OK" and reboot your PC.

 

After reboot your keyboard is automatically reinstall, you can test the backspace. If not work is an hardware problem.. What problem do you have been with the original keyboard??
