Pavilion Gaming Laptop cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Laptop Battery was swollen so I was said to change my battery. So I contacted nearby customer service center and ordered a new battery. They gave me SR04XL instead of SR03XL which was my original battery. Everytime I bootup it indicates that a Non-HP battery Detected. This may pose health and safety Risks.

Battery Counterfeit check error.

Does this means I have been given a fake battery?

I suggest you update the BIOS and check if that helps. Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

If the issue persists please contact the Service Center again
