Microsoft Windows 11

My battery started throttling intensely while charging for no reason whatsoever (laptop is NOT overheating), and I used a program to turn BD prochot off in order to prevent it; recently BiOS updated ITSELF and locked me out of that program, and HP laptops won't let us rollback BiOS versions. I did a diagnostic and it says my battery fuse has now blown. This is on HP and is in no way my fault, as they initiated the updates and settings. I just want to know if I really have to replace the battery, or if I can fix it someway else. (Struggling financially, got fired.)
