Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I updated the bios like everyone said to but it made my temptures even worse. My cpu hits 100 degrees but before it hit 95. Now the fans are even louder before and they're not helping. Is anyone else having the same problom and if you fixed it how did you?

did you update everything. there is a drivers page for your laptop. go thru the drivers page for you laptop and make sure everything is updated. make sure intel dynamic platform and thermal framework is updated and installed. intel management engine all that stuff. this helped me alot. i also got a good cooling pad and it is winter here and i live upstairs so i let it get very cold so i can game hard. try lowering game settings. ambient room temp also can hurt if your heat is on real high in your house. 90-95 is okay for some laptops with i-7s. a 100 is the max for most of these chips and they will emergency shutdown if you get too hot. also i have heard that the omen command shows the temps higher than what they really are. I used hw monitor and it was always 5-7 degrees lower than what omen command was showing.

also sometimes people find that thier heatsinks are not on tight either but if you are under warranty it is better to send it in if you are not comfortable working on it your self. People replace paste on laptops and report huge drops in temps as well. Be warned, if you break it will doing something like that you void warranty.
