Hi:

If the BIOS can be rolled back to an earlier version, you can find all of the available previous version BIOS updates by going to your notebook's support page.

Click on the latest BIOS update listed and then click on the Previous versions option.

I see many previous BIOS update versions listed--all the way back to F.04 from 5 years ago.

Okay so I just successfuly rolled back my bios, but now everytime I start my laptop it automatically opens the bios update to update to the latest version. Is there a way to disable this? it's kind of annoying haven to postpone/cancel it everytime I start my pc

Unfortunately, I would have no idea.

You mean the minute you turn on the notebook, it goes right into a BIOS update, and you have to cancel it?

Is the newest BIOS sp##### file still on the C:\drive in the SWSetup folder?

If so, you may want to delete it, so it has no file source to draw from.

If that doesn't work, somehow the notebook is trying to recover the new BIOS update and has it stored in the BIOS.

I decided to reset every bios setting and it worked. Thank you so much for your help though, you were really helpful. Best of Regards
