HP Victus 16. Bought November 2023 used twice a week on average for 4 hours for the last 18 months to play games like Apex Legends. 

 

Screen started flickering and got progressively worse comes up with a CMOS Checksum error (cmos built into battery). Screen blacks and keyboard cuts out, can connect separate mouse, keyboard and screen and it still works. Got to a point were it will be switched off then not work for 3 days then power button will suddenly work again.

 

 

Taken to repair shop for them to have a look, no wiring issues, checked graphic cards, they thought they got it working again but soon as I tried to run a graphic intensive game it's just started doing the same. 

 

Bit ridiculous to be honest only touch it twice a week to play an 18 months in it's practically unusable

I should add the computer repair shop said its not a cmos issue despite that coming up as they checked
