Good morning everyone,
I purchased an HP Omen 15-ax020ca in attempts to battle the dreaded black screen. I'm 24 hours into trying and i am stumped.
Thus far I have
1 pulled all internals including both ssd', the ram, internal battery etc, removed power, held down power for 25 seconds. Reinserted power.
This encountered the same issue, trying to boit, black screen with 5 long flashes and 3 short. All white led on caps.
Occasionally there is no flash on the cap locks and the power button flashes.
I've downloaded windows 10 to try and bokt off the USB, with the same outcome upon booting and holding the windows key and the B key for up to 2 minutes. Zero results.
I'm not getting any red LEDs stating a catastrophic failure so...I'm hoping someone here will be able to assist.
Thank you in advance. And y3s, I've skimmed through the forum for 24 hours on and off before posting...my issues seems further than that of many others .
Thanks in advance

Welcome to HP Support Community,
Let's try to attempt performing a Bios recovery - HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)
If the issue still persists, I would personally suggest this could be a possible hardware failure with the notebook.
HP support can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp
Select the product type.
Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
Select the country from the drop-down.
You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!
Cheers!
