"cores"??

What part of the laptop opr motherboard are you trying to describe?

It would be better to take a digital image of what you mean and post it here.

I'm talking about the 7 screw that holds the heatsink the area between the cpu and GPU that's the area where the tape  got very small  holes cuz of screw slips so is it necessary to replace the tape and if which one is good.😁

Digital images are worth a thousand words.

Do you have a mobile phone with a camera?

Kindly use it and post the image here.

You can remove the tape or thermal pads with a plastic spudger implement like the ones used for mobile phone repair.

I have had those for years just  for that reason.

Using that, as long as you are are rough as when you used the screwdriver, won't damage the circuit board.

You will have to be more gentle when working on devices that have miniature and smaller size electronic components.

Is it really necessary to remove the tape can't I just put something similar covering the holes

I think you want to take a look and see if you damaged the traces on the system board or not.

I would, but that is just me.

If you want to risk it, why even bother removing the tape anything on it.

If you did not do any damage it will show itself when you power on the laptop.

How to know to the traces are damaged by looking at them?🤔.Removing the tape seems easy (with what you mentioned before thanks for that😁) but what do I replace it with i searched for tapes similar to this and got nothing idk if the search tags I put are even right 😂.Also if you know the purpose of this tape pls tell me 😁

That isn't tape.

It is thermal pad material.

It serves as an interface for heat transfer.

"How to know to the traces are damaged by looking at them?"

It will be quite obvious, even to an untrained eye.

The traces are in these range of choices. 0.020″, 0.031″,0.040″, 0.047″, 0.062″, 0.093″ and 0.125″ inches

If it is damaged, unless you have a heat station, and the knowledge of how to repair broken traces to use it, there isn't anything you can do about it now.

You might as well put it back together and turn it on.
