I had an HP Omen 17t 4k edition more than a year ago and it worked fine but when I ran it a few days ago i noticed a blue mark on the screen.

I can only notice when on dark backgrounds, It doesn't look as bright as in the attached photo.

 

I googled the problem and tried a few thing, I used an online tool for flashing the moniter LEDs as a way to repair stuck pixels but it didn't help and then I found someone asking in the HP support and was told to update the bios so I did but this also didn't help.

Another side question that I have, I bought my laptop refubrished on ebay , and when I used the detection tool to download the bios update, it didn't find my laptop so i manually inserted the serial and product numbers but it wasn't found, I had to insert the product name itself to download it.
Are refubrished out of warrrenty products removed from their database?
