Hi @bbiswas,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Rolling back to a previous BIOS version can be a bit tricky, but here’s a step-by-step guide that should help.

Download Previous BIOS Version:

  • Go to the HP Support website and find the support page for your HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop.
  • Locate the BIOS section and download the previous BIOS version that you want to roll back to. Ensure it’s compatible with your laptop model.

Create a Bootable USB Drive:

  • Format a USB drive to FAT32.
  • Copy the BIOS update file (usually a .bin or .exe file) to the root directory of the USB drive.

Enter BIOS Setup:

  • Restart your laptop and press the appropriate key to enter BIOS/UEFI setup (usually Esc, F2, F10, or Del, depending on the model).

Prepare for BIOS Recovery:

  • Navigate to the "BIOS" or "Firmware" section of the BIOS setup.
  • Look for an option for "BIOS Recovery" or "BIOS Flashback." This option might be under the "Advanced" tab or similar.

Perform the Rollback:

  • Select the option to recover or flash the BIOS from the USB drive.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select the previous BIOS version file from your USB drive.

Restart Your Laptop:

  • After the BIOS rollback process completes, your laptop will usually restart automatically.

Check Bluetooth Audio:

  • Once your laptop boots up, check if the Bluetooth audio output is working. You may need to reinstall or update Bluetooth drivers if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
