Hi @EJ2106,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To activate Bluetooth on your Victus by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop PC, follow these steps.
Check the Bluetooth settings:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Keyboard Shortcut: There may be a key combination to enable Bluetooth on your laptop. Typically, this could be Fn + F12 or another function key with a Bluetooth icon. Press Fn and the corresponding function key that might be dedicated to turning on/off Bluetooth.
Enable Bluetooth from the Device Manager:
- Open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start button and selecting Device Manager.
- Look for your Bluetooth adapter under Network adapters or Bluetooth (if it's in Hidden Devices, you can try enabling it by right-clicking and selecting Enable).
- If the device is hidden or has a yellow exclamation mark, right-click on it and select Uninstall device. Then restart your computer to allow it to reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
Update Bluetooth Drivers:
- In Device Manager, right-click on your Bluetooth adapter under Bluetooth or Network adapters and choose Update driver.
- Follow the prompts to search for updated drivers automatically.
Check BIOS Settings: Sometimes, Bluetooth can be disabled in the BIOS. Restart your laptop, press the Esc key (or another key like F10, depending on your model), and enter the BIOS setup. Look for Bluetooth settings and ensure it is enabled.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
