Hi , I just turned on my new laptop and noticed it has these light lines and dark lines coming from the bottom of the screen.
I presume this is faulty and will return, but can anyone advise if this is a common issue? I would like to get a replacement but want to make sure it is not going to happen again. I really hope this is not how it is supposed to be 🤣
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
