On my Hp gaming laptop, there is a massive delay with the speakers and microphone.
It is most noticeable when using a loopback method, such as "listen to this device" in the sound control panel item.
One possible way to eliminate the delay is to untick "Enable audio enhancements" for all the built in devices, however this solution doesn't work for me, because I have another APO installed called Equalizer APO, which also is disabled by that same setting.
This latency is present even with all effects turned off in "OMEN Audio Control", and with no Spatial sound format selected (i.e. "Off").
An ideal solution would involve the ability to disable the processing or effects by hp completely, just using the external apo, or perhaps even just don't delay compensate for the effects when they are disabled.
One thing I've tried is to uninstall each audio processing component from the device manager, but they eventually come back, and the sound driver reinstalls itself.
