Hi, can I add a 2nd SSD drive to my existing 256GB SSD? is there a second SSD slot? and if so, what type ? Thanks!

It has 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now. There is no second M.2 SSD slot BUT it has a 2.5" SATA slot which you can use to add a 2.5" SATA/HDD drive.
Page 33 of the following Guide shows you which part(s) you need. It also shows you how to add/replace 2.5" HDD/SSD:
