Hi @Kfudge,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you're looking for information related to playing a particular game on your laptop.
The HP 15-fc0018na can run The Sims 4, but it may have some limitations in performance. Here's a breakdown:
Minimum System Requirements for The Sims 4
- OS: Windows 7 (64-bit) or later
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ (minimum)
- RAM: 4GB
- Graphics: At least 128 MB of dedicated VRAM (NVIDIA GeForce 6600 / ATI Radeon X1300 / Intel GMA X4500)
- Storage: 15GB
Specs Analysis for HP 15-fc0018na
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 (entry-level, but should meet the minimum requirements)
- RAM: 4GB (matches the minimum but might be limiting for smooth gameplay, especially with mods or expansions)
- Graphics: Integrated graphics (may be on the lower end for gaming, so you might experience lag, particularly on higher graphics settings)
- Storage: 128GB SSD (sufficient for the base game, though expansions may quickly fill it up)
Tips to Improve Performance
- Lower Graphics Settings: Set graphics to low or medium.
- Limit Expansions and Mods: Extra content can strain the system, so limit it if you notice lag.
- Close Background Applications: Free up as much memory as possible before launching the game.
Overall, it should work on low settings, but upgrading to 8GB RAM in the future would likely help with smoother gameplay if the laptop allows it.

Hi @leonski21,
I am sorry to hear that your PC does not have an option to upgrade the ram as it is solded to the motherboard.
However, are you able to play the game after following the other steps shared?
Take care and have a great day ahead!
