Hello,
I am unable to change the resolution of the on-board screen of my recently purchased laptop. I know in the past NVIDIA control center could upscale the resolution. I have updated windows to current releases, updated NVIDIA drivers and still nothing. It seems like the NVIDIA control center is missing the majority of options available. However, when i plug into my 4K monitor all options do become available.
Anyone have any idea on what i should do to get 1440p resolution on my on-board screen?

It sounds like your laptop's built-in screen might not support 1440p, which is why the option only appears when you connect to a 4K monitor. Since the NVIDIA Control Panel is missing some settings, it could be a driver issue or a limitation of the display itself. Try checking Display Settings in Windows to see if a higher resolution is available. If not, you can try enabling GPU scaling in the NVIDIA Control Panel or creating a custom resolution. Also, make sure your NVIDIA drivers are fully updated and consider reinstalling them if needed.
